Cover and Upholstery, Separating from Seat Pan





1 Cover and upholstery

• Removal:

- Remove seat: vehicles from November 2004 => [ Power Front Memory Seat ] Power Front Memory Seats, From November 2004.

- Remove side trim on sill side, refer to => [ Side Trim, Sill Side ] Side Trim, Sill Side.

- Remove side trim on tunnel side, refer to => [ Side Trim, Tunnel Side ] Side Trim, Tunnel Side.

- Remove the backrest, Refer to => [ Front Backrest ] Power Front Memory Seats, From November 2004.

- Remove bolts - 3 - (Qty. 2).

- Remove bracket - 2 -.

- Disconnect connector for seat heater - 7 -.

- Remove clip - 4 -.

- Pry out grip channels - 5 - all around.

- Disengage tab - 6 -.

- Remove cover and upholstery - 1 -.

• Installing:

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order.

- for vehicles with LATCH bracket and new cover - 1 -, cover must be cut in at LATCH bracket, refer to => [ LATCH Bracket Cover ] Front Seat Covers and Upholstery.

1 Cover

• Removal:

- Pry out grip channels - 3 - from plastic clips - 2 - using a screwdriver.

- Remove cover - 1 -.

- for vehicles with LATCH bracket and new cover - 1 -, cover must be cut in at LATCH bracket, refer to => [ LATCH Bracket Cover ] Front Seat Covers and Upholstery.

• Installing:

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order. Observe the following when doing so:

- Replace damaged plastic clips.

- Press in first the plastic clips of transverse beam.
