Cover and Upholstery, Separating from Backrest Frame





1 Backrest

• Removal:

- Remove seat: vehicles from November 2004 => [ Power Front Memory Seat ] Power Front Memory Seats, From November 2004.

- Remove backrest: vehicles from November 2004 => [ Front Backrest ] Power Front Memory Seats, From November 2004.

- Remove headrest.

- Remove headrest guides: vehicles from November 2004 => [ Headrest Guides, from November 2004 ].

- Remove backrest cover panel. Refer to => [ Backrest Cover ] Backrest Cover.

- Pry out lower grip channels. Refer to - 3 - (Qty. 3).

- Disengage side grip channels - 2 - (Qty. 2).

- Remove backrest frame. Refer to => [ Backrest Frame ] Backrest Frame.

- Remove side airbag. Refer to => [ Side Airbags, Servicing ] Side Airbags, Servicing.

- Pry out plastic tabs - 4 - (Qty. 5).

- Remove upholstery with cover.

• Installing:

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order.

2 Side Fastening Strips (Qty. 2)

3 Lower Fastening Strips (Qty. 3)

4 Plastic Tabs (Qty. 5)

Cover, Separating from Upholstery





1 Cover

• Removal:

- Lever out grip channels - 4 - from plastic clips - 3 - using a screwdriver.

• Installing:

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order. Observe the following when doing so:

- Replace damaged plastic clips.

3 Plastic Clips

• Replace if damaged

4 Fastening Strips
