Windshield Wiper Arms

Removing

• If the windshield wiper motor is to be run during the work procedure, the hood must be closed, otherwise the voltage supply of the wiper motor will be interrupted.

- Switch on ignition.

- Operate "one-touch wiping" and let wiper arms run to end position.

- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Using a screwdriver, pry the caps - 3 - off the wiper arms.





- Loosen the nut - 4 - several turns.

- Loosen wiper arms - 2 - one after the other by gently rocking back and forth at the wiper shaft.

- Remove nuts completely and remove wiper arms.

• If the wiper arm cannot be pulled off in this way, use a commercially available puller.

• Ignore - 1 - and - 5 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Adjust wiper arms. Refer to => [ Windshield Wiper Arms, Adjusting ] Adjustments.
