ATF, Draining for ATF Flush

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Triple square socket driver (3357)

• Used oil collection and extraction device (V.A.G 1782)

• Vehicle on a flat surface

• Observe disposal regulations!

• Activate vehicle lifting mode before driving vehicle with air suspension onto hoist, that is, with all four wheels hanging.

- Loosen fasteners - 2 - and - 3 - remove rear noise insulation- B -.





• There are different versions of the noise insulation on the different vehicle types.

- Place used oil collection and extraction device ( V.A.G 1782) under transmission.

- Remove ATF drain plug - A - using triple square socket driver (3357) and drain ATF.





- Tighten ATF drain plug again.

• Tightening Specifications 24 Nm.

CAUTION!
Do not allow engine to run without filling ATF and do not tow the vehicle.
