Oil Filter and Oil Cooler Component Overview
1 Locking bolt - 40 Nm
2 Seal
• Replace
3 Spring
• For pressure relief valve, approximately: 4 bar
4 Piston
• For pressure relief valve, approximately: 4 bar
5 Gasket
• Replace
6 Oil check valve
• Tighten to 8 Nm.
• Integrated in the oil filter bracket
7 O-ring
• Replace
• Push it on up to the collar on the crankcase ventilation tube => [ (Item 9) Crankcase ventilation pipe ]
8 Retaining clip
9 Crankcase ventilation pipe
10 20 Nm
• Insert using locking compound; locking compound.
11 Lower coolant line
12 Locking bolt - 15 Nm
13 Seal
• Cut and replace if leaking
14 Oil supply line
• To turbocharger
15 Banjo fitting - 30 Nm
16 Seals
• Replace
17 Oil pressure switch (F1)
• Operating pressure 1.4 bar
• Black insulation
• Checking, refer to => [ Oil Pressure and Oil Pressure Switch, Checking ] Testing and Inspection
• Tighten to 20 Nm.
18 Seal
19 15 Nm plus an additional 90° (1/4 turn)
• Replace
20 Gasket
• Replace
• Snaps into the tabs of the oil cooler
21 Oil filter element
• Observe change intervals,
• Observe installation instructions for oil filter
• Tighten to 20 Nm.
22 25 Nm
23 Oil cooler

• ensure sufficient clearance to surrounding components

24 Oil Filter Bracket
• With pressure relief valve, approximately 4 bar
• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Oil Filter Bracket ] Oil Filter Bracket
