1 Hood cable

• Removing:

- Remove front wheel housing liner => [ Front Wheel housing Liner ] Service and Repair.

- Remove storage compartment on driver's side (vehicles with knee bolster):

- Remove bolt => [ (Item 3) Screw ].

- Remove retaining clip => [ (Item 4) Retaining clamp ].

- Unclip cable for lower part of hood lock and disengage attachment lug - arrow A -.

- Remove cable => [ (Item 1) Hood cable ] from retaining clips => [ (Item 6) Retaining clip ] opened earlier and pull into wheel housing toward lock carrier.

• Install in reverse sequence.

• Bring ball on cable for lower part of hood lock into installation position.

• 2.4 Nm

4 Retaining clamp

5 Lower part of hood lock

• Removing and installing => [ Hood Lock, Lower Portion ] Hood Lock, Lower Portion.

• Can be used to adjust height of hood.
