Torque Converter Shaft Seal

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Extractor Lever (VW 681)

• Thrust Piece (T10137)

Procedure

- Torque converter, removing, refer to => [ Torque Converter ] Torque Converter

- Pry out the shaft seal using the (VW 681).





- Apply ATF on the circumference and on the sealing lips of the shaft seal.

• Installed position: Open side of shaft seal faces transmission.

- Install the shaft seal for the torque converter all the way onto the (T10137).
