Fan Shroud: Service and Repair

Fan Shroud

Removing

- Drain coolant => [ Cooling System, Draining and Filling ] Procedures.

- Remove radiator => [ Radiator ] Radiator.

- Disconnect electrical harness connector - arrow - for coolant fans.





- Expose wires at rear of lock carrier.

- Remove air guide at left and right - arrows -.





- Unlock both retaining bolts for fan shroud and remove by pulling upward - arrows -.





- Swing fan shroud toward front at upper edge.

- Separate electrical connection - arrow - for the coolant fan by reaching behind the fan shroud.





- Remove fan shroud.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

- Install radiator => [ Installing ] Radiator.

- Fill with coolant => [ Filling ] Procedures.
