Sunroof / Moonroof Frame: Service and Repair

Sunroof Frame





1 - Sunroof Frame

• Remove the headliner.

• Remove side curtain airbag on left side of vehicle.

• Before removing, disconnect all harness connectors as well as front and rear water drain hoses.

• Remove the combination nut - 3 - and remove the frame from the front passenger door.

• Bolting points => [ Bolting Points ].

2 - Wind Deflector Motor

• Removal, refer to => [ Wind Deflector Motor ] Wind Deflector Motor

3 - Combination Nut

• Quantity: 15

• 8 Nm

4 - Sunroof Motor

• Removal, refer to => [ Sunroof Motor ] Sunroof Motor

5 - Cable Tie

• Reinstall all cable ties in the same locations from which they were removed.

Bolting Points





- Completely unscrew combination nuts (quantity: 15) - arrows -.

- When installing, tighten nuts to 8 Nm.

Water Drain Hoses





- Clip water drain hose - 1 - into clip - 2 - as shown

Cable Clip





- Secure water drain hose - 1 - with cable tie - 2 - as shown.

Installing Synchronization Spring





- Bond felt - 2 - to inside of cover - 1 - before installing synchronization spring.

- Rivet - 3 -

- Synchronization spring - 4 -
