Read Measuring Value Block (Scan Tool Function 08)

Test requirements:
- Coolant temperature at least 80 C.
- Electrical devices switched off (radiator fan must NOT run during the test).
- Air conditioning switched off.

Test sequence
- Connect vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051 and select vehicle system "01 -Engine electronics" in selection . Engine must be run at idle. Connecting VAS 5051/VAG 1551 Scan Tool (ST)

Display on VAS 5051:







- Under -1- select diagnostic function "08 - Read measured value block".

Display on VAS 5051:







1 - Enter display group; max. value = 255
- Enter desired display group number (three figures) in field -2- and confirm entry by pressing -Q- button.

NOTE: The choice of display group depends on the particular functions and components to be tested.

Display on VAS 5051 for display group 000:

NOTE:
- If a display field is not utilized, it will not be displayed.
- To switch to a different display group, proceed as follows:







- Exit function "08 - Read Measured Value Block" by pressing the <- button.
