Shifter A/T: Adjustments

ADJUSTING SELECTOR LEVER HOUSING RELATIVE TO SELECTOR LEVER

NOTE
^ After installing the shift lock solenoid, place lower bore of fork at center of solenoid and apply voltage to solenoid.
^ Install selector lever housing in this position with selector lever at "N" position in the housing. The selector lever must travel equal distances from "N" to "R" and from "N" to "D. "



OR

01N Tansmission

1. Place selector in "P" position, loosen cable clamp.
2. Set lever on transaxle to "P", up to stop.
3. With cable in tension free position, torque cable clamp nut to 14 ft. lbs.
