Power Locks

NOTES:
- All malfunctions that can be recognized by the central locking system control module and printed out on the VAG1551 Scan Tool (ST) are listed per the 5-digit DTC.
- If switch or activating element DTCs are stored, troubleshooting procedures should include reading measuring value block. Read Measuring Value Block (Function 08)
- Before replacing a suspected malfunctioning component, check all related wiring connections, harness connections and Ground (GND) connections per the appropriate wiring diagram.
- After repairs, use the VAG1551 scan tool to check and erase DTC memory
- DTC memory stores all static and sporadic malfunctions as DTCs. A malfunction is recognized as static if it exists for at least 2 seconds. If a static malfunction is no longer present after 2 seconds it will be classified as sporadic and the letters "/SP" will appear on the upper right side of the scan tool display.
- After switching the ignition on, all DTCs present are set as sporadic, and are only stored as static DTCs if they are still present after the check.
- If a sporadic malfunction no longer occurs for 50 driving cycles, the DTC is erased.
