Go to step 6.
NO -
Repair poor connections or loose terminals, and recheck.
6. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), or press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode.
7. Measure the voltage between body ground and audio-navigation unit connector A (24P) terminals No. 14 and No. 24 individually.
Is there battery voltage?
YES -
Go to step 8.
NO -
If the +B wire does not have voltage, repair an open in the wire between the No. 15 (10 A) fuse in the under-hood fuse/relay box and the audio-navigation unit. If the ACC wire does not have voltage, repair an open in the wire between the No. 18 (7.5 A) fuse in the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box and the audio-navigation unit.
8. Measure the voltage between audio-navigation unit connector A (24P) terminal No. 12 and body ground.
Is there less than 0.2 V?
YES -
Go to step 9.
NO -
Repair an open or high resistance in the wire between the audio-navigation unit and body ground (G502) Audio Wire Harness.
9. Measure the voltage between body ground and audio-navigation and HVAC switch panel connector A (20P) terminals No. 1 and No. 20 individually.
Is there battery voltage?
YES -
Go to step 10.
NO -
If the +B wire does not have voltage, repair an open in the wire between the No. 15 (10 A) fuse in the under-hood fuse/relay box and the audio-navigation and HVAC switch panel. If the ACC wire does not have voltage, repair an open in the wire between the No. 18 (7.5 A) fuse in the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box and the audio-navigation and HVAC switch panel.
10. Measure the voltage between audio-navigation and HVAC switch panel connector A (20P) terminal No. 3 and body ground.
Is there less than 0.2 V?
YES -
Go to step 11.
NO -
Repair an open or high resistance in the wire between the audio-navigation and HVAC switch panel and body ground (G501) Audio Wire Harness.
11. Measure the voltage between audio-navigation and HVAC switch panel connector A (20P) terminal No. 5 and body ground.
Is there battery voltage?
YES -
Go to step 12.
NO -
Repair an open or a short in the wire between the audio-navigation and HVAC switch panel and the audio-navigation unit.
12. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.
13. Disconnect audio-navigation unit connector F (12P) and audio-navigation and HVAC switch panel connector A (20P).
14. Check for continuity between audio-navigation and HVAC switch panel connector A (20P) terminal No. 17 and body ground.
Is there continuity?
YES -
Repair a short to body ground in the wire between the audio-navigation and HVAC switch panel and the audio-navigation unit.
NO -
Go to step 15.
15. Check for continuity between audio-navigation unit connector F (12P) terminal No. 12 and audio-navigation and HVAC switch panel connector A (20P) terminal No. 17.
Is there continuity?
YES -
Go to step 16.
