Bluetooth cell phone cannot be paired
NOTE:
- Check the vehicle battery condition first.
- Check the connectors for poor connections or loose terminals.
- When six devices are already registered, delete a device before pairing another one. Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview
1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), or press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode.
2. Press the HFL TALK button.
Does beep sound?
YES - Go to step 3.
NO - Go to step 5.
3. Check if there is no abnormality in the registered device or if it is a compatible model. (handsfreelink.com)
4. Check either by using a known-good connected device or by using a known-good vehicle equipped with Bluetooth audio.
Is the Bluetooth device normal?
YES - Go to step 5.
NO - Defective Bluetooth device.
5. Connect the HDS to the DLC. Check for HFL DTCs.
Is there any DTCs indicate?
YES - Go to HFL DTC troubleshooting.
NO - Go to symptom troubleshooting Voice control does not work/respond Symptom Troubleshooting or HFL switch test. HFL Switch Test
