DIM = Drivers Information Module
BCM = Brake Control Module
ECM = Engine Control Module
CAN = Controller Area Network

DESCRIPTION:
The message "Anti-skid service required" may be displayed in the DIM and the DTC BCM-0103 may be stored in the vehicle.

Eventually, one or more additional DTCs may be found: ECM-940F, ECM-900C, BCM-C004801 and BCM-0147.

The condition could occur if the brake Pedal Travel Sensor (PTS) is sending faulty values on the CAN network.

Effects of the DTCs:
BCM-0103: Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) will be turned off.
ECM-940F / ECM-900C: Cruise control will be turned off.
BCM-C004801 / BCM-0147: Emergency Brake Assist (BA) will be turned off.

Note:
The base wheel brakes and parking brake are not affected and will work as normal.

PRODUCT MODIFICATION:





A new-style PTS with the connector located on the side has been introduced from chassis No. 666580 (see photo).

SERVICE:
Replace the PTS according to VIDA with PN 30742306
