The signal with information about which gear is engaged is transmitted via the CAN network from the Central electronic module (CEM) (4/56) to the Parking Assistance Camera (PAC) (4/120) and Infotainment control module (ICM) (16/94). The Infotainment control module (ICM) transmits, in turn, the signal onwards via the MOST network to the Multimedia module (MMM) (16/108).
The Steering wheel angle sensor module (SAS) (3/254) transmits information about the steering wheel angle, via the CAN network, to the Central electronic module (CEM), which transmits the information on to the Parking Assistance Camera (PAC).
The Brake control module (BCM) (4/16) transmits signals about the speed via the CAN network to the Central electronic module (CEM), which transmits the signal onwards to the Infotainment control module (ICM) and the Parking Assistance Camera (PAC). The Infotainment control module (ICM) transmits, in turn, the signal onwards via the MOST network to the Multimedia module (MMM).
The Parking Assistance Camera (PAC) controls the camera (27/6) via LIN communication. The camera transmits a LVDS video signal to the Parking Assistance Camera (PAC). The Parking Assistance Camera (PAC) converts this signal to an NTSC video signal, which is transmitted to the display screen, via a T connector on the Multimedia module (MMM).
