The master unit for the Alcohol Analysing Start Inhibitor is the central electronic module (CEM). However, no diagnostic trouble codes are stored in the event of a fault with the Alcohol Analysing Start Inhibitor. If faults are found on the Alcohol Analysing Start Inhibitor, symptom fault tracing "Checking the Alcohol Analysing Start Inhibitor, xxx" should be used instead.
Note, however, that if the vehicle does not start, the fault is not necessarily in the Alcohol Analysing Start Inhibitor.
