Fault-tracing information

Note! This fault tracing only applies to vehicles with battery monitoring sensor (BMS).

If electric accessories are fitted in the vehicle, it is very important to ensure that the accessories are connected afterthe battery monitoring sensor (BMS) and not to the negative pole.
If the negative terminal is used as a ground point before the battery monitoring sensor (BMS), there is a risk that it will transmit incorrect values to the alternator and the alternator's charge to the battery will be reduced.

Fault symptom
- LM, Battery/Dead battery
- LN, Battery/Weak or low electrical power
- LO, Alternator and charge regulator/Power supply problems
