Removal

Remove the crankshaft seal, front Refer to: Crankshaft front seal, B6304T4, TF-80SC AWD, B6324S5, TF-80SC AWD, B6324S5, TF-80SC, B6324S4, TF-80SC AWD, B6324S4, TF-80SC Service and Repair

Torque: M6, 10 Nm

Rotate the crankshaft until piston No. 1 is at top dead center (TDC).

Remove the outer gasket, timing cover Refer to: Gasket, outer timing cover, B6304T4, B6324S5, B6324S4 Gasket, Outer Timing Cover

Installation

Torque: M7, 17 Nm

Torque: M6, 10 Nm

1. Torque: Centre bolt, exhaust camshaft Stage 1: 75 Nm Stage 2: 90 degree

2. Torque: Centre bolt, intake camshaft, 110 Nm

Note! Only tighten the bolts finger tight at this stage.

Torque: Inner timing cover, adjuster screw, 3 Nm

Torque: M8, 24 Nm

1. Torque: M6, 10 Nm

2. Torque: M7, 17 Nm

3. Torque: M8, 24 Nm

Install the following items:
- Intermediate Shaft Gasket, Accessory Drive Side Refer to: Accessory Drive Side Intermediate Shaft Gasket, B6304T4, B6324S5, B6324S4 Accessory Drive Side Intermediate Shaft Gasket
- Accessory Drive Component Bracket Refer to: Accessory Drive Component Bracket, B6304T4 Service and Repair

Torque: M7, 17 Nm

Fit the camshaft seal, front Refer to: Camshaft seal, B6304T4, B6324S5, B6324S4 Service and Repair

Fill cooling system, draining, filling, and bleeding. Service and Repair
