Net pocket, side panel































INTRODUCTION
- Read through all of the instructions before starting installation.
- Notifications and warning texts are for your safety and to minimise the risk of something breaking during installation.
- Ensure that all tools stated in the instructions are available before starting installation.
- Certain steps in the instructions are only presented in the form of images. Explanatory text is also given for more complicated steps.
- In the event of any problems with the instructions or the accessory, contact your local Volvo dealer.






Net pocket, side panel





- Attach a piece of tape edge-to-edge with the panel for the rear load securing eyelet as illustrated. Measure and mark out for drilling holes for the lower rear clip.





- Attach a piece of tape on top of the previous one as illustrated. Measure for drilling the upper hole for the clip.





- Drill two -3 mm (1/8") holes through the panel. Use a 10 mm (25/64") drill stop.
- Remove the pieces of tape and swarf.





- Take screws and the mesh from the kit. Tighten the screws at the rear edge of the mesh pocket, with the mesh pocket positioned towards the lower edge of the side panel.





- Fold the mesh pocket towards the side panel and ensure that it is against it at the arrow markings.
- Drill a -3 mm (1/8") hole through the clips and panel at clip (1). Use a 10 mm (25/64")drill stop.
- Remove any swarf.
- Take the screw and tighten the clip.
- Ensure that the mesh pocket is flush at the two front arrow markings. Repeat drilling and tightening as above.





- Measure out half the distance between the net pocket's eyelets and mark on the side panel, about the same height as the two eyelets.





- Drill the hole in the panel. Use drill stop.
- Remove any swarf.





- Get clips and screws from the kit and tighten down.
- Press on the net pocket's longitudinal rubber band in the clip.
