Parking assistance, front



























INTRODUCTION
- Read through all of the instructions before starting installation.
- Notifications and warning texts are for your safety and to minimize the risk of something breaking during installation.
- Ensure that all tools stated in the instructions are available before starting installation.
- Certain steps in the instructions are only presented in the form of images. Explanatory text is also given for more complicated steps.
- In the event of any problems with the instructions or the accessory, contact your local Volvo dealer.

Note! These installation instructions apply to left-hand drive vehicles. When installing in a right-hand drive vehicle, the procedure is carried out on the opposite side and/or mirrored. Where the operation differs, right-hand versions are also displayed with text and images.

Caution! The front and upper sill panel must be removed and installed as one unit.

- Fold back the mat.





- Locate the rubber grommet under the thick insulation mat and press it outwards.

Note! Position a long tool sleeve between the body and insulation to facilitate cable routing later on.





- Carry out on both sides.










- Remove the side cushion by first pulling it backwards at the upper edge until the hooks (1) release. Then pull it inwards slightly until the hook (2) releases, and upwards until the locating pin (3) disengages from the mounting at the rear edge.





- Remove the rear sill panel.
- RHD: Applies to both sides.





- Remove the sealing strips.





- Detach the B-pillar panel.





- Detach the B-pillar panel.






















- Use: 9995919 Pull hook. Insert into the holes on the upper edge of the cover. Turn the tool and pull off the cover.
- Remove the screws for the loading eyelets.
Tightening torque M8 screws: 24 Nm (17.7 lbf.ft)































Applies to cars with headlamp washing




- Place a container under the car.
- Release the catch (1) on the connection for the washer pump.
- Pull the connection (2) straight out.
- Allow the washer fluid to run into the container.

Hint: Use a drain hose. Or plug the connection on the pump with a suitable rubber plug.





- Disconnect the connector on the pump by pressing the catch (1) up and pulling upwards.
- Hold the pump at the same time.

Applies to all models

























- RHD: Carry out this procedure on the opposite side.










- Raise the car.






















- Carry out on both sides.





- Carried out twice.





- Carry out on both sides.


















- RHD: Mirror the position of the cable harness.
