Checking sound system

Fault-tracing information
Customers have experienced different problems with the sound system. The following functions for the Infotainment Control Module (ICM) have been rectified by the latest software:
1. Improved functionality for the POWER button.
2. Improved signal processing for the remote controls. This requires a software update for the Climate control module (CCM).
3. CD/DVD and USB playback pauses automatically for incoming calls, news and traffic information.
4. The USB content is sorted in alphabetic order when button 2 is pressed.
5. Problem with black monitor at start-up has been rectified.

Action
Go to the tab SOFTWARE and program the infotainment control module (ICM) with the latest software.
Check the function.

Fault symptom
Audio other/Other audio problems
Audio other/Audio unit display does not work
Buttons/control knobs on centre console (Climate)/No/reduced/incorrect function
Navigation/Other navigation problems
Remote control/Does not work
USB unit/Does not work
