Checking signal cable between Integrated Audio Module (IAM) and Infotainment Control Module (ICM)

Fault-tracing information

Note! This symptom fault tracing only applies to the S60 (11-) with structure week 201020 and onwards, V60 with structure week 201035 and onwards as well as XC60 with structure week 201046 and onwards with the Sensus system with DVD player and/or RTI.

It may happen that map images or video images are not displayed on the new Sensus infotainment system and/or DVD multimedia function. It may be because the signal cable, with blue connector, that runs between the Integrated Audio Module (IAM) and Infotainment Control Module (ICM) has come loose or has a faulty connection.
Check that the signal cable is not loose or disconnected and that it is correctly connected in both the Integrated Audio Module (IAM) and Infotainment Control Module (ICM).
