- Notifications and warning texts are for your safety and to minimize the risk of something breaking during installation.
- Ensure that all tools stated in the instructions are available before starting installation.
- Certain steps in the instructions are only presented in the form of images. Explanatory text is also given for more complicated steps.
- In the event of any problems with the instructions or the accessory, contact your local Volvo dealer.






Handsfree, Bluetooth

Note! These installation instructions apply to left-hand drive vehicles. When installing in a right-hand drive vehicle, carry out the procedure on the opposite side and/or mirrored. Where the version differs, right-hand versions are also displayed with text and images.When installing Velcro fasteners/tape, the underlying surface must be kept at a temperature of at least +20° C (68°F).Place the manual for this accessory in a suitable place in the vehicle.There may be components in the accessories kit that are not used for this installation.










- Tightening torque screws: 40 Nm.

Caution! Wait at least one minute before unplugging the connectors or removing other electrical equipment.





- Remove the panel.





- Fold back the mat.





- Unhook the cable harness clips.
- Unplug the connector.





- Remove the panel.

Applies to cars with the Four-C system









- Remove the panel.





- Unplug the connector.

- Release the hooks using a screwdriver.
- Press the panel out.

Note! One side at a time.

- Disconnect the connectors. The number of connectors, cables and cable ties can vary depending on the vehicle's equipment level.





- Remove the screws.










- Disconnect the connectors. The number of connectors, cables and cable ties can vary depending on the vehicle's equipment level.





- Wrap foam tape (H) around the cable to the control panel (G).










- Position the cable in the cut-out between the dashboard and the centre console.





- Clean the area on the dashboard as illustrated, which corresponds to the size of the double-sided adhesive tape. Use a solution of 25% isopropanol and 75% water, as well as a lint free cloth. Wipe dry carefully, do not rub.
- Allow to dry.

Caution! In cases where the area is heavily soiled or treated with cockpit shine, first clean using a washing up detergent.

- Position the cable as illustrated.

Applies to right-hand drive vehicles




- Position the cable as illustrated.

- Locate the 14-pin connector, which was disconnected from the media player.










- Cut off any excess.










- Locate the connector.





- Release the connector's secondary lock.





- Connect the cable.
- Press the secondary catch together.



















Caution! Remove the front and upper sill panel as one unit.


























- Carry out on both sides.
