Part 2












Parking assistance, camera, front blind view









- Disconnect any connector(s).





- Remove the screw.
Tightening torque: 24 Nm





- Fold the carpet to one side.
- Remove the screw.
Tightening torque: 24 Nm





- Fold the carpet to one side.
- Remove the screw.
Tightening torque: 24 Nm














- Remove the screws.










- Disconnect the connectors. The number of connectors, cables and cable ties can vary depending on the vehicle's equipment level.


























- Tear off the excess foam tape.














- Ensure that no part of the cable harness is trapped.





- Ensure that the cable is routed so that it does not come into contact with any moving parts.


















- Locate the rubber grommet under the thick insulation mat and press it outwards.

Note! Position a long tool sleeve between the body and insulation to facilitate cable routing later on.





- Insert the connector through the hole for the rubber grommets.





- Connect the connectors. The number of connectors can vary depending on the vehicle's equipment level.










- Reinstall the screws.





- Plug in the connectors.










- Reinstall the screws.










- Use suitable tape to protect the components.


















- Remove the component carefully.


























- Remove the clips.
- Remove the screws.










- Locate the hole for the rubber grommet on the cowl panel.

Note! On certain models this may be covered by the heat insulation.





- Pull through the cable.











Note! Do not expand the hole more than is necessary to get the switch through, the rubber lead-in can easily split.

- Use: Low temperature grease 1161427







Applies to vehicles with diesel engines or 6-cylinder petrol engines






Applies to all models




- Remove the nuts.














- Route the cable harness to the existing cable harness.

Note! Do not tighten the clamps yet.

Caution! Make sure that the cable is positioned so that it is not damaged by heat or wear.










- Route the cable to the existing cable harness.














- Tighten the clamps securely.






Note! Remove the lens cover for the camera.





- Install the O-ring.











Note! Check that the camera is installed the correct way.






















- Insert the cable in the passenger compartment. Adjust the cable excess out in the engine compartment and press the rubber grommet into place. Place any excess under the floor carpet.

Caution! Tighten the clamps securely.

- Reinstall the detached components in reverse order.
