Check the cable harness and connectors.
Check for visible damage to the cable.
Check the pin for damage or loose installation.

Corrective actions
1. In the event of an open-circuit or damage to a cable, replace the cable.
2. If there is damage to a pin in any connector, repair the pin.

- Ignition off.
If no faults were found when checking cables and connections, replace the trailer module (TRM).

Action
1. Replace trailer module (TRM).
