Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information PBM-U300616
Condition
Park Brake Module (PBM) checks its own system voltage by comparing direct voltage with system voltage in Central electronic module (CEM). Information about system voltage in Central electronic module (CEM) is sent via the CAN-net to Park Brake Module (PBM).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
Alternative 1
- The voltage to the control module is lower than 8.5 V for more than 10 minutes.
Alternative 2
- The voltage to the control module is lower than 7.5 V for more than 1 minute.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Control module supplied with power.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute value
- None.
Possible source
- Low battery
- Short-circuit to ground in the power supply.
- Damaged fuse.
Fault symptom[s]
- Electrical parking brake; No Functionality
