Condition
Power Steering Control Module (PSCM) receives information about the current vehicle configuration from the Central electronic module (CEM).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Vehicle configuration from Central electronic module (CEM) is incorrect.
- The vehicle configuration from Central electronic module (CEM) is not the same as the one stored in the control module.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Control module supplied with power.
