Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information POT-U210000

Condition
Power-Operated Tailgate Module (POT) receives information about current vehicle configuration from Central electronic module (CEM).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Vehicle configuration from central electronic module (CEM) is lost.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Activated control module.





Substitute value
- Limited functionality in Power-Operated Tailgate Module (POT).

Possible source
- Intermittent open circuit/interference in one or both CAN cables in part of the network.
- Short-circuit to ground in the communication cable.
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in the communication cable.
- Contact resistance, oxidation or poor contact in connections.

Fault symptom[s]
- Tailgate/trunk lid/Hard to open
- Tailgate/trunk lid/Hard to close
- Tailgate/trunk lid/Power locking does not work
