Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition
The Driver door module (DDM) communicates with the control panel in the driver door via LIN-communication. The Driver door module (DDM) continuously checks the buttons' status.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Some of the buttons have been activated for more than 20 seconds.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Control module supplied with power.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

- One or more function buttons are stuck in the pressed-in position.
- Damaged control panel.
