Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information
Condition
The lighting in the switches for the Four-C function are supplied with power and grounded via the Suspension module (SUM).
The voltage to the lighting is monitored by the control module.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Voltage to the lighting is too high.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position II.
- The test is carried out every other operating cycle. The Suspension module (SUM) defines an operating cycle as ignition on and ignition off.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Note! When diagnostic trouble codes in the suspension module (SUM) are erased, they do not disappear until the next operating cycle (ignition off - ignition on).
Substitute value
- None.
Possible source
- The voltage supply to the lighting in the switch has a short-circuit to voltage.
- The switch for the Four-C function is damaged.
Fault symptom[s]
- Four-C; Deviation; Switch illumination; Always full intensity
