Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information CVM-U042468
Condition
Note! This diagnostic trouble code (DTC) status is an event controlled diagnostic trouble code (DTC). An event controlled diagnostic trouble code (DTC) does not mean that there is a fault in the control module when it is active, but is designed as information.
The control module is continually supplied with information from the Climate control module (CCM) via CAN communication. The control module checks the quality of the information from the Climate control module (CCM).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The transmitting control module indicates a lower quality level of information than the closing velocity module (CVM) accepts.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts when:
- The vehicle is in normal mode.
- Engine running.
- The voltage supply to the control module is 10-16 V.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute value
- None.
Possible source
- Fault-trace in transmitting control module.
Fault symptom[s]
- Front monitoring/Active safety/City Safety does not work
