Condition
The four-wheel drive control module (DEM) controls the software's parameter memory. The control module has a number of basic parameter values. The parameters value is checked internally in the control module.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The parameter value in the four-wheel drive control module (DEM) does not match the one in the software.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition on.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.





Substitute value
- Four wheel drive is disconnected while the fault exists.
