Checking the component
Check the power supply and ground to the Climate control module (CCM) by switching on the ignition and blower fan. The blower fan must blow and it must be possible to regulate the fan speed.
Was a fault detected?
Yes - Checking the voltage and ground terminal
No - Checking CAN cables

Hint: After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied.
- Ignition off
- Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
- Switch on the ignition for at least 10 seconds.
Try communicating with the control module by selecting one of the functions for vehicle communication under the Diagnostic tab.

Checking the voltage and ground terminal
Check that the fuse for the climate control system in the central electronic module (CEM) is intact.
Check the power supply cable from the Central electronic module (CEM) #C3:73 to the Climate control module (CCM) terminal #C1:1. Check for an open-circuit. Check for loose connections. Check for contact resistance. Check for oxidation.
Check the ground cable between Climate control module (CCM) terminal and the ground terminal. Check for an open-circuit, loose connections, contact resistance and oxidation.
