Fault-Tracing Information






Fault-tracing

Information

If the fault is intermittent, fault-trace according to:
- To establish whether the fault is on the MS CAN or HS CAN, check for DTCs on the CEM for missing communication with other nodes and which network these nodes are on.

If the fault is permanent, fault-trace the driver information module (DIM) in accordance with the following:
- Check that the fuses are intact.
- Check the power supply/ground connection.
- Fault-trace the CAN-communication between the driver information module (DIM) and central electronic module (CEM) in accordance with the following: Controller area network (CAN) fault-tracing Fault-Tracing Information

Other information
- If the fault is on the MS CAN, select: Controller area network (CAN) fault-tracing Fault-Tracing Information
- If the fault is on the HS CAN, select: Controller area network (CAN) fault-tracing Fault-Tracing Information
