Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information PSCM-U010000

Condition

Note! If the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored in a vehicle that is not a hybrid vehicle, the DTC must be ignored and erased without further action.

The control module is continually supplied with necessary information from the Engine control module (ECM) via CAN communication. The control module checks the communication with the Engine control module (ECM).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- No communication with the Engine control module (ECM).
- Incorrect value lasts longer than 2 seconds.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position II.
- Battery voltage between 9 - 18 V.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
