Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information TCM-P272000
Condition
Linear pressure solenoid SLC3 controls system pressure in the transmission. The solenoid is controlled by a power amplifier at the output of the transmission control module (TCM). The control module uses the power stage to control the current to the solenoid. A low amperage results in a high system pressure. A high amperage (approximately 1A) results in a low system pressure. The amperage is primarily affected by the throttle position.
The diagnostic trouble code is stored if the control module detects:
- An open circuit in solenoid SLC3 circuit.
Solenoid SLC3 can then not regulate system pressure.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition on.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute value
- Auxiliary program Emergency mode 1 in the transmission control module (TCM) has started.
Hint: Emergency mode in case of malfunction, B6304T4, TF-80SC AWD, B6324S5, TF-80SC AWD, B6324S5, TF-80SC, B6324S4, TF-80SC AWD, B6324S4, TF-80SC Emergency Mode In Case Of Malfunction
Possible source
- Contact resistance in the terminals.
- Open-circuit in the cable for the control signal or signal ground.
- Short-circuit to ground in the signal cable.
- Solenoid not working.
- The transmission control module (TCM) does not function.
