Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information ECM-P222792

Condition

The engine control module (ECM) compares the filtered signal from the pressure sensor to the inlet manifold with the signal from the atmospheric pressure sensor in the engine control module (ECM).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The deviation is greater than 100 hPa.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition on, wait for at least 15 seconds to perform the diagnosis.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

Substitute value
- If the pressure sensor in the intake manifold is OK, a filtered value from such is used. Otherwise, the value 1000 hPa is set (corresponds to sea level).

Possible source
- Damaged manifold absolute pressure sensor (MAP).
- Damaged engine control module (ECM).

Fault symptom[s]
- Warning lights and chimes/Malfunction Indicator Light ("Check engine" light) indication/no indication
