Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information TCM-P215800
Condition
The signal for input speed comes from a sensor within the transmission control system. The transmission control module (TCM) uses the signal to determine the input shaft speed after the torque converter. This signal is used to compare transmission speed and vehicle speed. The transmission control module (TCM) uses this comparison to calculate the gear-shift timing. The rpm and vehicle speed data are also used to adjust system pressure and reduce engine torque when shifting. The result is smooth gear-shifting. The information is also used to control the lock-up function.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The circuit to the transmission's speed sensor input speed is missing.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition on.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute value
- Auxiliary program Emergency mode 3 in the transmission control module (TCM) has started.
Hint: Emergency mode in case of malfunction, B6304T4, TF-80SC AWD, B6324S5, TF-80SC AWD, B6324S5, TF-80SC, B6324S4, TF-80SC AWD, B6324S4, TF-80SC Emergency Mode In Case Of Malfunction
