Checking the oil level

Checking the oil level

Checking the oil level

Note! The oil level in the four-wheel drive clutch package is very important for the function of the four-wheel drive.

Check the oil level. If the oil level is low, check the four-wheel drive clutch pack for leaks. Then top up with oil.

Hint: The oil must be up to the level of the filler plug.

Remedy as necessary.

Replacement of oil pressure pump

Replacement of oil pressure pump

Note! When replacing the differential electronic module (DEM), oil pressure pump or complete all-wheel drive clutch package, the control module needs to be calibrated.

Since no malfunction was found, the symptom indicates that the malfunction is located in the oil pressure pump.
Solve by changing the oil pressure pump.

Caution! When fitting the oil pressure pump, it is important to ensure that it is fitted in the right direction.

Calibration of differential electronic module (DEM)

Calibration of differential electronic module (DEM)

Calibration of differential electronic module (DEM)
This service is used to carry out calibration of the four-wheel drive control module (DEM).

Caution! The calibration service is a power-hungry procedure, and so it is important for a battery charger with sufficient charging capacity to be connected to the vehicle so that it can be powered sufficiently. The power supply is important so as to ensure the reliability of the calibration.

Calibration of differential electronic module (DEM)
1. Switch off the engine.
2. Make sure that the battery charger is connected to the vehicle.
3. Engine running.
4. Click on the VCT2000 symbol for calibration.

Note! A buzzing noise can be heard when calibrating the control module. This is normal behavior.
