Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information TCM-P097300

Condition
Shift solenoids S1 and S2 work with the linear solenoids to handle shifting in the transmission. The solenoids are controlled by power stages in the transmission control module (TCM). The transmission control module (TCM) opens the power stages to activate the solenoids and sends a voltage through the circuit.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The circuit of solenoid S1 receives too low of a signal when the solenoid is activated.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition on.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

Substitute value
- Auxiliary program Emergency mode 3 in the transmission control module (TCM) has started.

Hint: Emergency mode in case of malfunction, B6304T4, TF-80SC AWD, B6324S5, TF-80SC AWD, B6324S5, TF-80SC, B6324S4, TF-80SC AWD, B6324S4, TF-80SC Emergency Mode In Case Of Malfunction

Possible source
- Short-circuit to ground in the signal cable.
- Solenoid not working.
- Internal fault in the transmission control module (TCM).
