Condition
This diagnostic trouble code is only for the purpose of indicating that there is one or several diagnostic trouble codes that affect the emissions registered in the transmission control module (TCM). If transmission control module (TCM) requests that engine control module (ECM) shall activate the malfunction indicator light, the diagnostic trouble code is generated in engine control module (ECM).
