Condition
The differential electronic module (DEM) checks the software calibration. The control module has a number of parameters that can be calibrated. The parameters must have a default value. The parameters value is checked internally in the control module.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Pump calibration value is missing or incorrect.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition on.

Note! The control module is calibrated together with the pump during production.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.





Substitute value

- Four wheel drive is disconnected while the fault exists.

Possible source

- Differential electronic module (DEM) has not been calibrated after replacement.
- Damaged Differential Electronic Module (DEM).
