Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information






Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information PBM-C200819

Condition
Park Brake Module (PBM) supplies voltage to left brake caliper directly via an output.
The control module checks the power consumption on the output.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
Options:
- The motor current is higher than 24 A when the motor applies the parking brake.
- Incorrect signal lasts longer than 0.1 seconds.
Options:
- Motor current is unreasonably high when the motor releases the parking brake.
- Incorrect signal lasts longer than 0.5 seconds.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Activated function.
- Ignition position 0, I and II.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.





Substitute value
- None.

Possible source
- Damaged brake caliper.
- The motor has jammed.
- Short-circuit in the signal cables.

- Text window and warning symbol/Yellow symbol and text message
- Text window and warning symbol/Red symbol and text message
- Electrical parking brake; Reduced Functionality
