Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information FSM-C1A6768
Condition
Note! This diagnostic trouble code (DTC) status is an event controlled diagnostic trouble code (DTC). An event controlled diagnostic trouble code (DTC) does not mean that there is a fault in the control module when it is active, but is designed as information.
Note! If DTC FSM-C1A6754 is also stored, fault trace this DTC.
Forward Sensing Module (FSM) communicates with forward-sensing radar. If the forward facing radar detects that it reads radar targets incorrectly, recalibration starts automatically whilst travelling.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Automatic recalibration has started.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Control module supplied with power for at least 5 seconds.
- Engine on and speed over 70 km/h.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute value
- None.
Possible source
- The forward facing radar has identified that it has problems reading surrounding targets correctly and has therefore started an automatic recalibration of the radar whilst travelling. The fault is automatically rectified by the system and no remedial action is required if DTC FSM-C1A6754 is also stored. If DTC FSM-C1A6754 is also stored, fault trace this DTC.
