Condition




Power Operated Tailgate Module (POT) checks the consistency of an internal relay that controls motor tailgate opening. The control module checks at activated closing or opening of the tailgate that signals from this relay are consistent with special inner software algorithms.
The diagnostic trouble code is stored if the control module detects:
- Incorrect signals from the relay.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Activated opening of tailgate.
- Activated closing of tailgate.
