Condition
Power Operated Tailgate Module (POT) checks if any signal comes from hall sensors in motor tailgate opening at automatic operation of the tailgate. The fault code is set if the control module does not detect signal from one or both hall sensors.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Automatic operation of the tailgate.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

- None.

Possible source
- Signal line from one of the hall sensors is short-circuited to ground.
- Open circuit on signal line from one of the hall sensors.
- Damaged hall sensor.
- Operation of tailgate blocked mechanically.
- Damaged motor tailgate opening.
