Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information BCM-C008254
Condition
At calibration of the sensors in the stability sensor (BSC), a checksum is stored in Brake control module (BCM). At each start up, the control module checks the stored check sum against a calculated check sum.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The check sums do not correspond.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position II.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute value
- Traction control (TC) blocked.
- Stability control (SC) blocked.
- Active yaw control (AYC) is blocked.
