Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information BCM-C006A01
Condition
The Body sensor cluster stability sensor (BSC) is supplied with 12 V. Brake control module (BCM) is supplied with voltage when the ignition is on. The stability sensor is supplied with power after the control module has checked if there is voltage in the cable.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The voltage is high but the Brake control module (BCM) does not have a power supplied sensor.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position II.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute value
- Traction control (TC) blocked.
- Stability control (SC) blocked.
- Active yaw control (AYC) is blocked.

Possible source
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the terminals.
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in the cable.
- Short-circuit to ground in the cable.
- Open-circuit in the cable.
- Internal fault in the body sensor cluster (BSC).
Note! This diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is not due to an internal hardware fault in the Brake control module (BCM) and must not be remedied by replacing the control module.
