Checking the component
- Ignition off.
Check that the body sensor cluster (BSC) is securely installed on the bracket under the passenger seat. Check that the bracket is not bent or damaged in any other way.
Remedy as necessary.
Hint: After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied.
- Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
- Test drive the vehicle following:
Note! Do not switch off the ignition between test driving and reading off the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs). This is to obtain the correct status of the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).
Then read out the diagnostic trouble code's status without turning off the ignition after the test-drive.
Hint: If no fault is found select "No" and continue fault-tracing.
